Having the right advertisement will help get the information out to other organization that can refer clients to use. A new beginning has started; I have just been appointed the director over the FABHC, which stands for Family and Behavior Health Center. The organization services are to help families and individuals to find help, understand what the mental illness behaviors are, and recovery from addiction. This organization is non-profit and will serve people with private insurance and state issued medical assistance. To receive the help that organization has to offer in the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania area. All you have to do is to call your private insurance company, if you are receiving Medical assistance from the state they will have information for you to be referred to the office. You can get approved and make an appointment to be seen by a specialist or if you need transportation or an emergency visit. After you have come in you will be assigned to a social worker that will help you in planning with your doctor a treatment plan that will work for you. The social worker is here to answer any questions that you may have about the program care you receive. This is where if you need to talk to someone about helping with your treatment like housing and other assistance that we can find for you. Also if you need help with finding assistance for your care and treatment your social worker can help with that even if it means that you may have to go to another organization for help. Our goal is to help you receive care even if it means going somewhere else for it. We lso have housing for those who may be in need to help with their care. The mission of this organization is to provide safe, affordable, and high quality assistance individuals and families that have an addiction or mental health illness that they want to receive help with. This organization is made up to service in addiction with drugs or alcohol, also with mental health illness. In doing so we work with the families to reach their goals in understanding their illness and care that will be needed for their love one. We work with the state to provide assistance. The organization has a policy book given to every employee so that they will know what is expected of them at work, also how to treat the clients and their needs. Have respect for them and be helpful. The message that the mission statement tells the community is that we are here to support the unique needs of our clients. By creating a caring and respectful environment that gives them an opportunity to learn and have the tools for a fulfilled life. These services will help them become a positive member of the community. The values statement is what drives the employee’s priority in the company. Values help with the planning of the organization mission. It all goes together so the employees know what they are to do in their job with the company and how they are to act with the clients. We know here at FABHC that our services can only be as good as our staff is our values of respect, empathy, support, pride, teamwork, effectiveness and connections (BAN). This is why we have employed the training instructors in this field to help with training our employees giving them the skills and information needed to help the clients in addictions and mental health illness. We also train in having a deep dedication in helping people and their families. We will also have rewards for employee of the month gift prizes given to the employee that shows the mission and values of the company. These values show the employee’s that hard work pays off in assisting the organization in helping make the client’s life a little easier. The behavior of the employees will be positive because they will be recognizing for the work they do and be rewarded for it as well. For those that go beyond their job duties to get the client the services, they will be notice for a month and have a parking spot up front for their work. These values relate to the mission statement that the organization job is to ensure that the help and support needed for a positive outcome for our clients. Making sure they have a fulfilling life with assistance from us. If employees feel that the work they do is appreciated they will work even harder. They will want to do more to make sure the client has the tools to help themselves to a better life. If we are not able to help we will find someone that can, with that go beyond the job expectation comes in. After all the training will go into the company having the best trainers to help with the programs needed to get the employees ready to deal with the client’s services. One thing that I have learned is that it is good to listen to your employees they may have ideas that will help the company become more successful. Making sure that the employees have a copy of the company’s handbook and know where everything is just in case they may need it is good. It is very important to always keep up with training for the employees on the programs that you are offering to the clients, because you need to be up on the latest techniques to help the people we are serving. The stakeholders have made changes to the organization for the best because we are a nonprofit organization we need the information of the services they provide out to the community to let people know about the company to raise money to keep the programs running. The government is making state cuts to the budget dealing with services like our program to the community; it is needed for everyone to have a chance at a good start at life.
